MVP-Navy Going Strong

MVP is partnering with the Department of the US Navy’s Center for Professional and Personal Development to develop and implement MVP training broadly throughout the Navy. The first phase of this project was a pilot of the MVP model with Sailors in Spring 2010. An evaluation report of the pilot was completed by CPPD in April 2011 and showed MVP to have significant impact in changing Sailor’s attitudes and beliefs toward sexual assault and that MVP promotes and supports increased bystander intervention attitudinal changes in target populations of Sailors.
